Calls for Submissions to NJ Arts Community National Day of Racial Healing

The Creating Change Network seeks submissions from arts organizations, schools, universities and individual artists in the National Day of Racial Healing from January 18-25, 2022. Submitted events can be either virtual or in-person and should be connected to the theme of “Healing in Action” related to race and racism. Participants may be eligible for up to $350 in project support.

You won't want to miss your chance to see the work of Efrain Lemus 'DP Drip' at ARTeriors Ocean Avenue Efrain has been all over South Jersey lately showing his work at the Stockton University Unidos 2021 Nuestro Pueblo Awards, at St. Babs in Cape May, at ARTeriors in Atlantic City, and more!

Efrain isn't the only artist on display. ARTeriors Ocean Avenue features more artists than ever before! 12 juried artists - Shari Tobias, John Morris, Michelle Franzoni, Lennox Warner, Shawn Mills, Randi Meekins, Ali Ahmad, Christian Correa, Heather Deegan Hires, Christina Walley, Mark Hills, and Greg Simmons - are working alongside volunteer artists to transform the space into an interactive & unique pop-up art experience.

ARTeriors Ocean Avenue is open for free public viewing every Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm through November 21st.

Capital Arts Grant Guidelines Now Available


The Capital Arts Grant Program supports capital projects for arts organizations located in New Jersey. Approximately $4 million in funds are available for the FY22 Capital Arts Grant Program. The grant program is designed to help New Jersey’s nonprofit arts organizations build operational stability and capacity through one of the three eligible project categories:

  • construction
  • repair or expansion of existing facilities
  • acquisition/installation of building service equipment (plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment, et. al.)

Artists in Education Residency Grant Program

 This residency places highly qualified professional artists in schools for 20 days or more. The residencies occur during the school day and are designed to enhance arts education for students and faculty. Any New Jersey public, private, charter, or parochial school serving grades Pre-K through 12 is eligible to apply.

Residency Dates: September 2022 - June 2023

Final Deadline: March 4, 2022
