SJCA invites South Jersey cultural leaders, arts administrators, and artists of color to join SJCA staff and members for a Zoom discussion to co-create solutions to a more inclusive, just, and equitable cultural community in South Jersey!
During our last virtual discussion, the New Jersey Arts and Culture Administrators of Color (NJACAC) shared some needs from their respective communities. SJCA would like to continue that discussion and begin taking action on one of the needs NJACAC identified - an inventory of artists and arts & cultural groups and organizations of color in South Jersey.
The South Jersey Cultural Asset Inventory and Story Mapping Project will include a comprehensive cultural asset inventory and interactive story map. With these tools, we can encourage collaboration across the field, open lines of communication, and improve access to funding opportunities that can support South Jersey's vital cultural assets.
Please join us for an hour to discuss and create actions that will help strengthen and build a more inclusive and equitable arts and cultural community in South Jersey.
