South Jersey Creative Capital Artist Professional Development alumni are invited to attend a FREE workshop, featuring Sharon Loudenentitled Finding, Creating, and Navigating Opportunities; Using Community as a Resource.

Working off the principles of empowering artists, leveraging artists’ inherent creativity, demonstrating pragmatic approaches to sustaining a creative life, and building relationships, Louden’s session will encourage collective and outside-the-box thinking about creating and navigating opportunities.

She will review relevant information and show examples of artists who build communities that help empower those willing to put in the work to turn generosity into opportunities.

All participating artists should come prepared to bring a realistic goal of theirs to the group, and to put generosity into practice by participating together in a conversation that will help fellow program artists navigate their own paths.

As sharing meals together encourages community-building, a light dinner will be provided. Please email any dietary restrictions to jhain@sjca.net by 11/11/19.

Sharon Louden leads Creative Capital's popular and transformative online workshop series: The Approach: Building Community for a Sustainable Creative Life.
